What began as a positive experience ended in an extremely upsetting incident. They are ill equipped to handle end....

According to my mom, the food was great. The woman in charge was very pleasant. We found my mom on the floor at around 11:30 am on a Saturday. Her room reeked of urine. Nobody there was aware, or bothered to care. It was a horrible experience. So no, I would not recommend that community. What began as a positive experience ended in an extremely upsetting incident. They are ill equipped to handle end of life conditions with dignity

I visited this facility

I went to Havelock Manor. The staff was very friendly. The facility was clean. The director, she knows what she's doing. My opinion is that the rooms are kind of small if I'm being honest. And the facility is kind of small. If it worked out, he would have gone there. Each room didn't have its own private bathroom and that was a negative for my dad. The staff was top-notch, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. You can get around quite well, but the hallways were narrow. It was just a small facility.

My mother loves being at the assisted living! She was living at home and alone all day. Her granddaughter would pick her up and cook dinner for her and take her back home. My mother loves being there because of the good food they cook, the actives she's doing are great, she likes the coloring, the concerts and the pets are great for her as well one more thing she loves the baths! Most Wonderful Home

We cannot thank them enough for all the wonderful care you have given to our Dad over the past two years. He was very happy living there and it was always comforting for us to know how well he was being looked after. They always made us feel so welcome. They have a really great team that is kind and hard working. We highly recommend Havelock Manor Assisted Living.

I visited Havelock Manor, which was very nice. It was a small, tight-knit community. Janine, the woman I worked with, was very helpful and I felt like it was a very homey and warm place. There were several people in the common area together, and they seemed to be communicating with one another like a family. We did a tour of Havelock Manor. The best I like about it is it's very comfortable and smaller than most other places. I think they only had 23 units in there. As far as the lease goes, that would be just the distance from my house. I'm on the opposite side of town. It would be good for my stepmother. The only reason why we didn't go with them, is they had a complicated system for charging us. They had tiers, and they brought tears to your eyes to listen to it.
