As one who has a mother who is a Senior, I'm always "windowshopping" for possible communities in the event that we would have to make a transition for mom. All things considered, Havenwood would definitely be a place that tops the list of places to consider. From the facilities, the care of the staff, and the welcoming spirit, this place checks all of the boxes for me and I know that my mom would say the same.

We have a good sized bedroom furniture in the along with a small table and chairs in the apartment. I think it's a good size for one person. The staff is very attentive to the residents with lots of activities. The food seems to be okay as Mom eats it. However, my sister did and reported back not real great. I have not eaten there. The building and the outdoor areas are well kept. If you see something and say something the staff immediately takes care of it.

Havenwood is a clean, well cared for facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are activities available daily,weekly, and special activities. The food could be less salty and hotter when served.There are different tiers of care available depending on needs. Overall a good facility for different levels of care.

My husband spent two and a half years at Havenwood of Minnetonka in memory care. The sense of community is evident when you walk in the door. The level of care and, equally important, the effort to make connections for residents experiencing Alzheimer's and dementia is visibly present. Feels like family

It took awhile to find a place we felt was best for [Name Removed. She is very withdrawn, suffers from severe anxiety and has no family. Havenwood has been the perfect fit! It is just the right size for her to feel known and safe and she has quickly made friends with the kind staff who encourage her to try new things and safely expand her world and the warm, welcoming residents. Havenwood feels like family!

Memory Care Seriously Lacks Quality Care

While the facility itself is attractive, the quality of care in the memory care unit is concerning. Staff turnover is high, and several staff members appeared unfamiliar with their patients, citing that they were new. Personal care, including baths and showers, is infrequent, and residents often receive minimal assistance with daily activities.
