Highpoint made it extremely difficult to work with any physician other than the facility's contracted "house physician." There was no direct way to contact this doctor, and families were left relying on staff to place residents on the weekly visitation list, which often did not happen. I ultimately had to advocate persistently to arrange care through Mobile Physician Services, whom I highly recommend. In addition, the accounting department was very problematic.
