My husband is in Holiday Manor Care Center. I would say don't even bother with the place because it doesn't seem that anyone cares there. The staff is verbally abusive. There are a lot of people that have Alzheimer's and dementia, but they put my husband in there for speech, and they're not doing anything. They're not teaching him anything as far as speech. My mother Josephine Was well taken care of. The Nirses Rosalina, Chonna, Lorraine, Pang and Cnns Flor, Neth and Patty all showed nothing but Love to Mom. Flor was like a daughter to my mother. My Mom loved Flor. Miss Edna the manager was excellent, wonderful and caring anytime I needed to call my Mom she was on it. I have seen a downfall on this facility since I have been visiting a family member for the past 5 yrs.there is no customer service at all from staff at the front.i even wait for long for me to get in.And need to call the facility that nobody is opening the door wherein it's only after lunch.You will see employees at the front patio smoking and listening to music wherein they can't be bothered.Im sorry I had enough, I wonder if the owner knows about this. My mother was at Holiday Manor for approx, 7 years. I can't say this facility is horrible but I also cannot say this facility is great. We saw a decline in how this facility operated through the years. They have a new administrator. She seems to care about the facility and improving things. They really needs to clean house and get rid of some of the worthless, lazy staff they have if she wants to improve how this facility runs. The feel and the look of Holiday Manor Care Center was average like any other, but the staff and care are excellent. The staff does their job, and everything is great, so I have no problems. My dad likes movies, music, puzzles, and communicating and socializing with other residents.
