The size of the apartment is a 5 (courtyard apt with a door from living area to courtyard and another from their bedroom, 2 full bathrooms and 4 closets, kitchenette, and ample storage space; cleanliness is 5...other places had a smell and Holly Court does not. The care and the staff was mediocre The food kept getting worse and worse. The activities were limited. The only thing she liked was the bingo. The room was too small of a bedroom to accommodate what she needed. They did not clean appropriate. The bathroom was always horrible. We had to clean it ourselves every time we visit half the time the clothes were missing. We were fortunate to get a lovely one-bedroom south-facing apartment with a balcony. The windows and door to the balcony let in so much light. The price seems quite reasonable for all that is included and the facility is close to where I live and where my person’s medical professionals are located. I will say the staff is amazing. They are very kind to my mom and to the other residence from all I can tell. And they were very friendly with me anytime I am there and can give me updates. The room size is perfect for her. She does have a single room. I had one issue where I called for a few hours one night and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. CriticalOur family loves the staff and clients at Holly Court but the overall facility has room for improvement......
1. 3 mom likes the people there and her friends and having her dog but things are regularly broken and it takes a while for them to be fixed. Also being so understaffed has caused a strain. The new owners have made some visible improvements but the washers and dryers rarely work.
