Things to know about Vintage Park

Staff is great, the director is to busy reminding people that "we are assisted living". Their idea of assisted living is not the same as mine. The staff will help assist people to the dining room for meals but director will admonish staff for assisting to and from meals. An example of a meal pulled pork on a bun and a roll, who does that!!! A Positive Place

It's a wonderful place for our loved one. She's enjoying being there. She loves the food. They have been very friendly and welcoming to visitors. There have been a couple of times they had to shut down due to Covid, but they were good about letting us know what was going on. Of course she misses her own home, but she is settling in nicely and is really enjoying the interactions with all the other people.

Vintage Park was very nice. We just ended up deciding that my loved one wasn't ready for assisted living just yet, that independent living would be a better fit. They were very accommodating and clear about my mom’s needs. As far as memory issues, they were very reassuring. I saw residents going in and out, which was reassuring as we were touring during Covid. I liked that the residents were able to leave and move about, even though we didn’t go into the facility because of restrictions. She showed us around outsid…

Perfect for respite!

Vintage Park at Atchison was a pleasant community. My wife stayed for a short time for respite care. We both enjoyed the variety of food that they served. They offered many activities and my wife had a great time participating. The staff took good care of her and were very easy to communicate with. Vintage Park gets my recommendation!

I would recommend it!

My father has been at Vintage Park for a short time and he is already settling in. He enjoys playing bingo and there are many other activities available. The entire staff is very friendly and attentive to the residents needs as well as they keep us informed of his care. While I have not had the chance to try the food my Father does not have any complaints. I would recommend this community to people as it has been a good fit for my Father.
