Lacking

My mother in law was there for 3 weeks. She was discovered with a broken hip hours after the incident. She walked downstairs when her mobility isn't good. Dementia patient that tripped over her catheter and fell, in the middle of the night. No one assisted when she fell. There wasn't sufficient monitoring of patients. You can't even see any monitors. There wasn't a camera in the room till later and it wasn't a sufficient camera. A nurse wasn't upstairs for 4 hours. Dementia patients were on second floor. I would…

Critical

Horrible dangerous place

This left my 84 year old mother in law who has dementia and alztimers and had her on the 2nd floor NO alarm button in room or bathroom no gate In front of 15 stairs and never checked on her once a day and let sleep all day long no schedule no nothing while emopleyes sat on their phones paying no attention to clients horrible dangerous place do not leave loved there!!!

Wonderful people

Happy to say I picked the best spot for my friend from Ireland to live.the place is new and clean,the girls are so kind they treat everyone like family!they always have my friend up and ready to go places with me! I live only blocks away and enjoy getting him over for lunch,dinner,or just to talk to.i hope and pray to God when y time comes I get to go to a place like this!Alaska is in the top 20% of the best homes in America! My only worry is the heat going off in an emergency! Hope they have a generator as a back …

Positive

Amazing

My mother has been there for 7 months and they have done an incredible job. They are attentive, loving, and caring. It feels like a "home" inside and my mother hasn't looked so good in years (even better than when she was in her own home). Her eyes and attention are even brighter. There is real heart and commitment in this place. The owner and the people she hires are amazing.

This place was really nice but it was not quite as engaging as another assisted living I was checking out. Also, their staff to resident ratio was slightly lower.
