Horizon House has a variety of care, from assisted to memory care. Independent living is the very popular one and lots of people are living independently there. My husband and I both want to have socialization, it's a facility that really encourages people to socialize and they have lots of activities. It's not one of those things where you have a huge payment to make upon moving. If you need nursing care, you have to go someplace else. It also has multiple buildings that you move through.

Horizon House was beautiful and very well-run. The staff was lovely, and the food was good. The dining area was very clean and appealing. They have water aerobics, classes of all kinds, aerobics on land, and gardening.

We lived in Horizon House since 2009. It was an excellent place, the staff was very good, very caring, and helpful. We are very pleased to live here. We have a very nice apartment on the patio level of the building, and it’s very comfortable. There are 70 committees and there’s always something going on all the time. The food is excellent. They have a very nice dining room, and they have a bistro where you can just stop for hamburger or things like that. I was impressed by how friendly the people were.
