I moved to Independence Hill Retirement Community in San Antonio. I'm in their independent living community, and I like it very much. It has quite a list of activities that are available. The food is much better than the previous community that I was in. I have a lot more room. It's nice to have a full kitchen, my own washer and dryer, and an outdoor space with a small patio. My uncle lives in Independence Hill Retirement Community. He doesn't partake in many of the things that are offered there, but I know another person who has moved in there, about six months ago or so, and she goes and plays card games, and she's going to the water aerobics. I toured Independence Hill Retirement Community. It was very good, and it's a large place. There are people living in the big building, and then off to that, they have more or less what I would call apartments. That is where I would live and get the first floor. I have a dog, so it has a patio and a little fenced-in area for the dog. They have lots of activities going on all the time. I haven't eaten there yet, but the meals look good. Independence Hill Retirement Community was very nice. We enjoyed the tour a lot, it was very informative and will help us make our decision in the future. I liked the living style arrangement. We have moved into Independence Hill Retirement Community. So far we like everything. I have no complaints. It's a very warm and welcoming community, and the accommodation is excellent. The staff is very nice. Everyone has a smile on their face, and they are most accommodating. I think the food is on par with the most industrial kitchens. It isn't fine French cooking, but it's good.
