Ivy Park at Salinas

It’s a beautiful property with friendly people working there. It was great to see so many residents out and about enjoying the grounds.

My mother lived at Ivy park for the last 3 1/2 years of her life, and to say that it was a positive experience would just be such an understatement. It started off with meeting [name removed], who was the young woman who gave us the tour of the facility. She jumped through every hoop and imaginable to make sure my mom got the location that she would want that would make her the most comfortable and I was super picky about what I was looking for for her. Ivy Park at Salinas is great.

All fives. They are great. The move in was easy and the helped a lot making it easy. And my parents are really happy there. You pay more for them to handle prescriptions/medications. I think that's great because if you don't need help with that, you don't have to pay for it. My parents have complicated prescriptions and it's really important that we get it right. So we pay more each month but they do a great job.

Overall pleased

Mom loves the food. Staff is kind and helpful. Hallways smell like urine sometimes. Hard to communicate with staff and management when doctor changes medication rx.

We went to see Ivy Park at Salinas assisted living, and it was very nice. I found it to be very attractive. The staff members were very nice. The person who accommodated us was very helpful and explained everything about the facility. After speaking with them, I found out it was not what I was looking for. They treated us very nicely. I even got a little package of cookies, which I didn't expect. I noticed that they have a beautiful dining room that's big enough to hold all the people who live there, and …

The staff was very friendly and responsive. The only negative thing was some of the residents were not friendly and the little bossy about things.
