PositiveComprehensive care in an attractive, new facility
My father-in-law stayed here in his final months. The facility is very nice and well maintained. Food is good and they put a lot of thought into appropriate activities for the residents. The staff really provides a caring atmosphere. They also offer hospice through third party vendors.

Caring staff have done a good job of dealing with my mom and her dementia, and keeping my mom safe. I have not had any trouble getting updates about my mom's condition. Staff have pretty much always been available to answer questions for both me and my mom at all hours. Ivy Park at San Tomas is very nice. It's a beautiful place. Their whole facility is just gorgeous, very easy, spot-on, well-appointed. They've got their own chef there. The staff was very friendly, and every section of the place, which I toured, including their beautiful gardens. Everybody is very friendly. I was waiting for the director to come and meet with me. CriticalGive it a year or two before placing your LO here
The room is tiny. The meals were not as promised for almost a month. The activities were non existent for almost a month. There was no way for her to reach staff for several days after moving in. The staff isn't very attentive. The leadership gives good lip service but everyone is new and isn't aligned. The website is contradictory to the contract in several areas. We still haven't been able to get her hair done. There is a lot.
