CriticalI am/was a resident of this facility
1970's facility that is in desperate need of updating. Staff is miserable, many complained about the working conditions and their empathy toward the patients showed it. They just woke me up at 4:45am to take out the trash.....Little respect for the patients. No activities what so ever. You can't even get a cup of coffee in the morning. The food is beyond horrible, i probably ate 1 maybe 2 meals the 2 weeks i was there. Please don't subject yourself to this god awful place, run.

Terrible service from the social worker ,, nurses are the Best 💜but OWEN the social worker is terrible !!! My dear mom is 92 & he said no aid is needed , that she can stay home alone ,, while we work !!! Crazy , she’s already had a broken hip !!!

This facility is clean. However my mother had hip surgery, partial replacement and went there for rehab. Almost everytime I went there(once a day) she would be in bed. She wasn't eating well, however, she was angled in bed and no one helped her. She is 88 years old. She got very little rehab and ended up with an ulcer on her heel because she was in bed too long with the pressure. Not happy at all. They never asked her what she wanted to eat, she never ate salad or fish but that's what she got. Maybe that&…

My Aunt Joan has been at Jersey Shore Rehab for more then 15 years. I can't say enough about the staff and how helpful and nice everyone is. From the nurses like Fabulous Juanilde.to the Aids.Larry.front desk staff . Also Nicky and Kimberly. Especially after this past year with covid I was updated everyday and also got calls. The Activities Department is FANTASTIC!! Lucinda, Sharon, Sandra and their staff go out of their way to accommodate my family's requests. My 100 year old mother is a resident there and the only way our family can communicate with our mother / grandmother is through ZOOM. The Activities staff always meets our needs and treats my mother with compassion and respect. Can't say enough about them. We appreciate them so much!

Jersey Shore Center was on a pretty much the same level as the other nursing homes, but the rooms looked nice and roomy. The staff who accommodated me was very pleasant, helpful and kind, but they're not enough to help the people there. The dining area seemed pleasant enough, and there was a gentleman singing when I was there.
