The caring staff is wonderful. The admin department was going through changes and some restructuring was going on as we left. We left because costs jumped up suddenly by a couple thousand dollars per month due to a change in definition of services needed for my dad, who was at the highest care level, and because the facility does not accept Medicaid. Positive[name removed], business office manager here at KAL is such a kind lady who is always willing to help us residents with everything thing. Sometimes we are asked to provide information to insurance, or Drs. and most of us are not in the computer world, [name removed] gladly helps and does it in a lovely way.
