My friend has moved into Kemp Meadows Memory Care. The staff is super nice and super helpful. I haven't tried the food, but he says it's good. He says it's homecooked meals, three times a day and there are snacks in between. He's got a private room and his private bathroom. He says he loves it there. Yesterday, when I was there, he was out in the backyard. He was sitting on the bench petting a cat that had come up. They let them go outside, but someone goes with them. He loves it outside. Kemp Meadows does not follow any dietitian/nutritional guidelines . My mother is a diabetic and a sample of her dinners were pizza and chips another night it was a hotdog and chips another night Cold cheese sandwich and chips. Their larger meal for lunch which consisted of things such as rice and hamburger casserole a chicken stuffing casserole . Never was my mother offered a fresh fruit or vegetable . Beyond that she was hit by her roommate while laying in bed. Removed my mother within 30 days of the day she arriv…

Kemp Meadows is awesome. The food is so good that we had to take my father-in-law's pants up two sizes. He eats all the time. They'll serve him and if he wants more, he gets more. The food is his biggest enjoyment right now. The caretakers are very caring, but while you're there, they're hands off, but you know your family members are still under an eagle eye because you can just kind of look like you need help and they're right there by your side. Kemp Meadows was very nice and and clean. My mother is in the memory care unit. She has Alzheimer's and is very difficult, so they're doing the best they can with her. She participates in some activities, like coloring. The dining area looks nice, but the food doesn't look especially appetizing.

This facility is so very nice and the staff is so very nice to every one that lives there and also to the people that come to visit. They make sure the people that live there are taken care of.

The staff has been very helpful to me during this time of difficult decisions. My dad hasn't been there long and is still adjusting but he is adjusting and is having a lot of help in doing so. We are pleased with Kemp Meadows
