CriticalThis place is disheartening. There is equipment and stuff cluttered everywhere, the facility itself is not well maintained or clean, the rooms are crowded and out of date, the beds are AWFUL and look like they are from the 1920s and my family’s members bed didn’t even function correctly. Most of all is every time I have visited, my family member is in soiled clothes/dirty pull-up and looks like they have been sitting in it for hours. Not to mention they are complaining about staff not attending to them/food being s…

CriticalI was here for roughly 2 weeks for pain management and physical therapy after surgery. The nurses would refuse to give me my doctor prescribed pain medicine in a consistent manner. I was supposed to be taking medication for severe pain every 6 hours alternating with a milder pain killer every 6 hours in between. The nurses would tell me to fight thru the pain, consistently try to get me to take a lower dose and just make me wait hours after the prescribed times. They. Would force me to set an alarm on my phone to w…

CriticalMy husband was at Kent Regency for about 3 weeks. They had a COVID outbreak, which can happen, but during that time the care was way below par. My husband lost 23 pounds in 3 weeks and apparently it wasn't recorded or told to me. When he left, the next setting discovered a necrosis on his foot as well as an infected blister, neither treated or shown to me. He has was diagnosed with walking pneumonia, which again wasn't picked up by the staff. Finally, he didn't get a shower for 8 days where the proto…

CriticalThis place is awful. My dad was there for rehab to help him walk and within three weeks he ended up passing away. They neglected his health care. They would just sit him in a wheelchair and leave him there for the day. He had been released from the hospital for pneumonia and when he got there, they changed the medication he was on and never bothered to have a doctor or nurse practitioner check on him. They didn't give him any medication for a uti until after a week. They never contacted the family about any me…

CriticalIf I could rate lower than a one I would . The nurses are rude and condescending. When I asked to speak to someone about my mother's care what appeared to be a nurse from overnights acted if I were bothering her and said they were doing report. I waited about a half hour and asked again and was told they would let the nurse know. After another hour of waiting I got fed up and went looking for the nurse. She somewhat answered my questions but was in a hurry to move on. While I sympathize to how busy it can be i…

CriticalDirty, understaffed and neglectful to the patients in short term care. My mother lost 10 lbs in her 30 day rehab stay. I visited daily to find her covered in urine, feces and bruises. I have filed a report with the Warwick police department about her clothing being torn. It is currently under investigation. I believe she was a target for abuse because she has Alzheimer's disease. I have since moved her to a safer facility.
