When I did a tour of Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne, they were very helpful. I was encouraged to possibly placing him there because I just felt he would have a better level of care. Even having water delivered to his room. The size of the room was bigger, and he would be able to accommodate it if he needed the recliner in his room. The 'Front Office" promises the best of everything whereas , the floor patient service was a family's worst nightmare. DO NOT ALLOW "DENNIS" to be with your loved one. He is a LOOSE CANNON. My mother was at Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne for rehab. I didn't like the room, and I didn't like the smell. It looked like a hospital room. It wasn't homey at all. There were a couple of nurses who could have done better, but they were okay. The food was good and the activities were average. Even though she was in a private room, it was still pretty cramped. I’ve been in Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne. The facility was very nice, clean, and well set up. It looked like it was brand new, but it was not. The staff was nice except for the nurse that I managed to get who would not give me my pain pills when I asked for them. The food was OK, and they did your laundry for you. They didn’t lose any of mine, so I was quite pleased. Their therapy department was great. They were really very good in what they were doing. If I had to go to one again, I would go there.
