I'm in the nursing facility of La Mesa Healthcare Center. The facility is nice and clean, and the CNAs are all great. The physical therapy area here is fantastic. The least I like about this place is the food. The breakfasts are always good, but the lunches or dinners are sometimes hit or miss. They have an activities department, and they do a lot. They have the usual, like bingo, and we celebrate monthly birthdays. We just got a new director, and we just started gardening. We have music, entertainment, and pa…

I was there for 20 days following discharge from critical care unit due to cardiac arrest. The staff was friendly and efficient but I would have liked to see an RN once 8n a while. The physical and occupational therapists were young and energetic and very encouraging. They rate an A+. The food, however, was mostly terrible. One cold fried egg with a piece of bread that was supposed to be toast on a plate was inedible. Food that was supposed to at least be warm was cold. There were soups that were quite good. Way to…

Grateful for a good place to recover. Great care, friendly faces, positive attitudes, super showers, and marvelous meals! I always got prompt response for help and answers to my questions. I was in a shared room but I had a great roommate. The therapists were the best. I had a great experience during my time of need.
