PositiveMy dad moved into Lake Charles Care Center in February. The facility is clean. The staff is attentive and numerous. The staff keeps me updated. They have my phone number. They call for every little thing, which is good. The food, they had an extra meal and they gave it to me. I'd pay money to eat that at a restaurant. It's clean. It's never dirty. My dad's linens are always fresh. His clothes are cleaned regularly. I can't say that I have constructive criticism or complaint about the locati…

PositiveThe Lodge is new and clean! I am thoroughly impressed by the therapy team and the private rooms. My loved one had a private room and was right by the rehabilitation area. The staff were always friendly with me when I was visited, and my family member was able to get something to eat anytime throughout the day when she wanted. I highly recommend The Lodge when looking for a skilled facility for rehabilitation services.

A violent room mate was our issue and the response was "there would be issues no matter what room" Really??? I would also like to say, the workers work hard and they really try; but un-concernes and unfairness from upper Manageme…

There was no aural feedback when you pressed the call button, so you did not know if it worked or not. The televisions did not have remotes, and the nurses had to turn them on for the residents. When my mother was given a remote it would often turn on or change the channel of BOTH TVs in the room. Sometimes the the outlet expander wo…
