Nightmare

I have my father in this facility but I am in the process of moving him out. The staff pays the residents zero attention they are on their phones or outside smoking. The nurse they have on staff is extremely incompetent every time I ask for information about my dad she refuses to tell me anything I do not recommend this facility.

These people are the absolute worst! The nurses yell at you. They feed you bologna sandwiches. No JOKE! They hold your meds....I could go on about all the horrible things this place does to people. DO NOT go here!

This place is wonderful and I am very happy here. We a !of of activities things like painting and getting together and getting our nails done. Staff here is wonderful they love their residences and give them 100% of their time even if it's just simply coming by the room I'm sitting with them and talking to them. Once a month we get to go to Walmart and other outings during the month we have even been to the Panthers training camp which was fun... I give this place 5 stars

If there are any options for your friend/loved one, please consider them 1st. This place needs to be closed but won't be because its privately owned. Staff is not clinically trained & sorely lacks in knowledge & compassion.

This place was awful! Like something out of a ‘60’s horror movie. Residents were crowding the hallways, wandering around looking for something. Some looked like they hadn’t had a shower and clean clothes in a week or more. We were there about 10:30, the dining room looked like it hadn’t been used or ready to use for days. You couldn’t even walk in the activity room. A couple of the patients’ rooms were used for storage, the 2 bed rooms were crowded, unorganized and didn’t look clean. Some of the staff actually live…

An excellent facility for the price.

As the person responsible for my brother living at Lakewood Care Center I have been very impressed with the staff. They sincerely care about each and every person there, they are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond for every person. After having been at other facilities, my brother is happier at Lakewood than any other place. They come up with activities all of the time which keep the residents engaged. It is not the Ritz but to me having such a wonderful staff is more important.
