CriticalSmall rooms. Trash can pile up. Patients left sitting in their wheelchairs all day. Then when they come for PT they wonder why you can’t walk. The food is shockingly bad. The nurses and CNAs have been nice, but I suspect there are too many patients and not enough help. Getting someone to come after hitting the call light is hit or miss. Most PTs are helpful, but some are not great. Communication has been nonexistent. Every day or so you see a PA, but the doctor they said you will see weekly never showed. TVs can be…

PositiveAfter a fall at home and the hospital assuring no broken bones, I went to Life Care for 10 days for therapy. The PT staff is dedicated and [name removed] is outstanding in his commitment to the patients. The staff is amazing and 95 % are very pleasant to be around. The food, for the most part, is very good. The seafood chowder could hold its own in any competition. They need to hire more CNA's as the committed employees find it difficult to stay positive when stress levels are high. They really try though.

PositiveI have visited Life Care of Plymouth a few times to visit a friend staying there for rehab after surgery. I was very impressed with how well maintained it is, as well as how well staffed it is. My friend has been a patient there more than once after surgery . He says the staff is friendly and helpful , the food is good, and the social activities enjoyable. My interactactions with staff were all very positive. Although I didn't taste the food, it looked good.

CriticalMy mother went to LCC Plymouth after she fell and broke her leg. We should have known what to expect within her first few minutes at the facility. Because she needed to be on oxygen, they were going to connect her in her room--one of the "skilled" staff members picked up the nose canula off of the floor and would have given it to her if I hadn't noted that it was dirty. She regularly had her pills simply left on her tray. We would be told not to shut her door and then we'd show up to visit, find…
