The food is consistently good, and there are lots of activities. The 1 BR apartment is very spacious and brand new. I would recommend the community to others who are searching for senior living.

I moved to the independent living community of Lockwood of Hartland, and it is beautiful. Everything is new, clean, and nice. I think it's great. They keep us all busy. They play cards, and they always have bingo and movies two nights a week. We have our breakfast and dinner, and it's always delicious and fresh. If you want something else or something more, you get it. You just have to give them enough time. Everybody's nice, helpful, and glad to see you. They ask how you are doing and always call me…

I found a place, and I'm moving into Lockwood of Hartland. They have a few apartments that Michigan would pay for part of. So, I would be paying $1,750 a month instead of $3000 or $4000. They have an exercise room, a movie theater, and lounges. They have a room that you can have your family come in, and if you need to have a party or something.
