Rooms are of average size but always very clean. CNA's are some of the best that our family has worked with. The food is very high quality and served with the utmost care and respectability. We have been very impressed with the new Administrator Jayne, it is obvious that she cares about the residents and staff, she will always listen to any issue. My dad was at Macon Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. They're very nice, but I can't say that I love them immensely. They treated my dad well, and they loved him, too, but he got bedsores there, and I blamed that on the facility. I loved them as people, but I don't think that they had enough staff. They were very kind to my dad. They thought he was a precious guy, but because they were understaffed, it was hard for them to keep track of him. He stayed in his wheelchair almost all day, and tha…

My mother is a resident at this facility. I feel that the care she has received has been barely adequate. Whether the staff is over-loaded or uncaring, I don't know. But when I visit and find my mother needing care, I get upset. I visit regularly to help my mother's health improve so that we can, hopefully, bring her home.
