I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We looked at two places, and they were both the best prices, and then we ended up going with Madison House because it's closer to me. It's only like 15 minutes away from where I live, so it's really easy for me to go over and visit and still bring my father to appointments and stuff. Their assisted and independent are mixed. My father is currently in independent living, and we will probably be switching him over to assisted living in the next year. Marnie was the gal who showed us around, and she&apo…

I toured the independent living community of Madison House in Kirkland, and I liked it. I've known about the place for a long time, but I had never been there until recently, and it was surprisingly nice. Everybody on the staff was really nice, too. Not knowing its existence for years, I just went in there thinking it's probably an older place, which it is, but it's been updated, and I was just really impressed with it. I didn't have any negative feelings. Overall, I had a positive attitude abou…

We visited Madison House. We toured the whole facility. It was very, very nice. It's an upper-scale thing. It's very expensive. It was a place that my mom would not be comfortable in because of the expense. It was a quick visit, but everybody was friendly. It was a very beautiful place.

My mom is in Madison House's assisted living. I like their focus on activities, the range of their care, and the friendliness of the staff and the medical support. My experience with their staff has been great. They know quickly who you are and they go the extra mile to help the residents. The person who gave us the tour knew everybody's name, the staff, and the residents, and would talk to and have conversations with them while introducing us. We also take into consideration the longevity of the staff. M…

I visited this facility

We toured Madison House. It was a very nice community. It was very clean, spacious, and close to medical care. They had a lot of good things and a lot of activities planned. The dining room is nice. There was nothing wrong with the place. I just don't have the kind of money that they need. They show a movie at 6:00 or something like that. They have games. People play together with crossword puzzles. They have a gym and a weight room. They have laundry facilities for the people who are in independent living. On…

Madison House is too big and it's very 1990 heavy dark. The floors were spongy, and their pool broke, so they didn't have a pool anymore. It seemed like it could be a great program, but because it's so big, I think my mom could easily have gotten lost in the building. The apartments were very, very small and very dark. There was one small window. You would have to bring in lots of extra lighting. The staff who gave the tour was very invested in getting people into their program. I think that she&apos…
