PositiveMy wife will be checking into Madison Manor. She will have a semi-private room. She shares it with another person. Each has a bed and a dresser, and each has their own individually controllable TV. The bed is a hospital-type bed. It is not a brand new place, but the rooms are clean. They provide food and all that sort of business. The staff is very, very good. They take care of their people. My wife was there for a rehab session or stint several months ago. She had occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech…

PositiveMadison Manor absolutely wonderful. It was the last place she went and she passed away there in palliative care. This was her next home after [community name removed] would no longer take her back. She left Madison Hospital to go there. It is an older facility, so after what we had experienced we were truly afraid at what it could be like here. To our surprise, it was the homiest, well kept, clean, living facility. Had we known this was a lockdown type nursing home/memory care facility, we would have gotten Mom the…

PositiveMy mom moved into Madison Manor Nursing Home. It's close to us. It had a pretty good record that we heard from other people who had their families in there. The facility is nice. My mom is sharing a room with another person. The meals looked okay. The staff members are very good and caring. They have activities every week. They have people coming in to play music. They have pets that they bring in sometimes. They get the residents out for lunch together.

PositiveThe faculty and most of the nursing staff were very good. Many were extremely compassionate and kind. I am sure like everyone during covid they did not have enough staff. Whenever I had a question or concern, they were extremely good at helping me. This facility is smaller than most, and I really appreciated that option. My mother did not participate in an Events or games and she really was not able to. However, sMy mother did not participate in events or games and she really was not able to. However, she enjoyed h…

CriticalI toured this facility. The staff seemed really good, but cleanliness was lacking.

CriticalI put considerable time and resources into getting my sister admitted here and was then told they wouldn't accept her. They refuse to give me any reasons, which I need to find an alternative facility. They have a right to reject her but I feel they have a responsibility to give the reasons why. This shows a lack of common courtesy and compassion.
