The apartment itself was very nice and well maintained. Unfortunately, we had some serious concerns with the care and medication management, which ultimately led to a significant health issue and the need to leave. We also found that the overall community was not a good fit. The staff was friendly, but the experience with the other residents was disappointing.

My parents have lived at magnolia for a few months now and they absolutely love it. I was a very happy with the care staff. They are attentive and always check on my mom especially who needs 2 hour checks and medication management. They are easy to reach by phone and they always make sure to take good care of my parents. Pros: Beautiful modern apartments, great views, beautiful grounds, access to Cass Lake, pontoon rides, activities, shopping trips, monthly themed dinner parties with live entertainment. We've been very pleased with the entire place and the care staff. My mom has been in full care since she moved due to weakness from an illness. They have been very accommodating, caring and thorough. we also appreciate that they let us have cameras in her apartment since she is now a fall risk. From what I understand, not a lot of places allow that. Also, there are constant events, parties and meetups scheduled throughout the week.

Magnolia by the lakes is a nice little indie and assisted living resort for seniors. The grounds and buildings are well maintained, the staff is kind and knowledgeable. The apartments are very nice and feel like a home. Each unit has a balcony or patio area. They have been welcoming. Had a very pleasant experience moving our family member in.

I toured Magnolia by the Lakes. The facility was nice and clean, orderly, nice scenic area, and had plenty of amenities, which was something I noticed. All the apartments were nice. I would think of them as having a current, nice floor design, nicely appointed, modern but not ultra-modern.
