CriticalMy mom has been at Majestic Care of Bloomington. They have pretty good social activities. They do a lot of activities, and they're doing a really good job with her therapy, and working very hard with that, so those are the real positives. They seem to be short-staffed because it takes a long time for them to take care of things. They are running around constantly trying to keep up with all the demands and needs of the patients. She has to share a room, but the person she's with is a really, really nice pe…

PositiveGarden Villa is a nursing home. They have a lockdown unit for Alzheimer's, and they also have a memory care program. The staff is wonderful and are taking very good care of my mom. The rooms are just small but adequate, and they have activities.

PositiveMom is at Garden Villa. The staff as well as the rehab personnel there were very nice, caring, and considerate. The facility is clean. Although I really don't know all the activities that they have in there, but I do know that second Tuesday of every month there is a church that is allowed to come in and hold church services.

Criticalthere were a few nursses working there that had been there for several years whom genuinely cared for the residents.as far as the hosekeeping,,it was a complete the dissapointment and hope that none of my loved ever have to stay there. you could walk past resident rooms and see trash that looked as if it had not been taken out for several days,,dried food in the dining room on the floor and counters with spilt coffee around the microwave that had been there for quit some time.i did have a discussion with one housek…

CriticalThe facility was nice, it did not have a good smell. The employees were not as nice as I thought they would be. When you would walk down the hallways residents were sitting in their wheelchairs with food all over their mouths, there hair had not been brushed and it did not look like they were changed and got any attention. One thing that I personally did not like was the fact that my family member did not get the best quality of care meaning he was not turned on a regular basis which resulted in him getting bed sor…

CriticalMy experience with this facility was primarily negative. While there were several employees that were attentive to the residents and seemed to be working hard, there were even more employees that were not. I saw 2 residents that needed a complete clothing change due to incontinence, yet they sat unattended while I saw employees standing around talking and even eating. There is also a big difference between the different sections of the nursing facility. The section that is meant for rehabilitation is much nicer, ke…
