Do Not i repeat Do Not take your lived one to Manzanita Healthcare!!! Not only did they not check out my mom's roommate when she was coughing, mom got Covid so she was quarantined for 10 more days, sat in her urine and took them a long time every time to answer her call button! I am filing a complaint as soon as possible on this place!

My mother is at Manzanita Healthcare Center. I think they need more staff to meet the needs of the number of people there. There were times when my mother had to wait like an hour or more to get any kind of help with her briefs or changes or whatever. However, she got moved. She was on one side and then they put her on the other side for custodial care. And the nurses and the CNAs over there are like night and day. The staff was all caring, compassionate, and professional. The wait times for call light to be answered were minimal at any time day or night. The facility was clean and didn't smell like most care homes. The food was good especially for institutional food. The PT/OT were all professional and compassionate. If you must be admitted to a care facility for rehab, highly recommended.

I was at Manzanita Healthcare for rehab. I liked the administrative staff, and the food was really good. The only thing that I did not care for was I felt like there were not enough CNAs. But I always had the stuff I needed. They had a cafeteria that people could go to to eat and do other activities, like bingo. They also had places they could walk around and do stuff. There were a few shopping areas nearby. There were some landmarks, and there were a couple of drugstores and restaurants nearby.

Friendly care staff and the business office folks worked around the clock on all the communication and paperwork needed to coordinate doctors, insurance companies and keep me informed. Lisa was particularly helpful so many late nights helping me take care of my Dad’s needs.
