CriticalOur Experience
First impression is everything. I think they could do better at keeping the windows clean when you first come in. I've noticed some staff don't speak very good English. The person that helped with getting my loved one into the place was wonderful to work with and very helpful. I know the food was good. I know they've recently changed, so we'll see what happens to the quality.

The staff at The Homestead at Maplewood is amazing and very friendly. They have all been there for a long time and are wonderful people. The carpeting needs to be replaced, it smells bad. Other than that, they keep the place very clean,. They take a lot of pride in the building. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends. My mother in law loves it there!

Mom is always busy with activities. She especially loves to play Balloon Toss. The employees are very friendly and compassionate. She loves to go for rides in the van with her friends and stop for ice cream. Homestead of Maplewood plans fun activities around the State Fair, Fall Festival, and Birthdays. Mom also has quiet time in her room to relax and chat with her daughters. We love the care she receives which gives us great piece of mind. The facility is always clean and cheerful.
