My grandmother was at Marjorie McCune Assisted Living. The thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that their new administrator never returned my call, and she would just have other people get in touch with me when I really wanted to talk to her. I don't want to give her a bad review, I'm sure she was busy, but I never actually got to talk to her. I also can't say I could give them the fairest review because they did not specialize in memory care. They only did what they could, and they couldn't …

My grandmother is living in Marjorie McCune's assisted living, but she was living in their independent living cottages before that. She really liked that she had her own space because she's not used to sharing a room at the assisted living level. The staff there is very devoted and they know everyone. It's pretty organized. The place isn't really brand new, not flashy or gorgeous, but it's perfectly nice. I ate there once and it's more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. There are no w…

This community felt a little creepy when I visited. They do have a few independent living residents. Most of the residents had to share a room. The residents did not look very healthy or active. This community seemed more institutionalized. We did not think this community would be the right fit for my loved one.

Couldn't be happier!

My mother is loving her stay at the McCune Center! The staff is doing a great job at catering to my mother's needs. The facility is well maintained. There are many opportunities for my mother to participate in activities and socialize. Overall, my mother couldn't be happier!

Upon entering you are immediately overwhelmed by the smell of what I assume was urine. The inside of the building is very cold in appearance. The furniture in the main front area was worn. The admission's director was not very knowledgeable or organized in her presentation of the program. She did not know the difference between a psychologist and psychiatrist.
