I visited this facility

I toured here. I thought it was a nice, warm environment, and easy for people to get around in. They seemed to have good offerings. The clientele seemed to be happy. They're well-engaged. They're a fairly active community. The tour person was super honest, very helpful, and gave me some extra hints on ways to talk to my dad to get him up here. She was honest, and let me know that they've been bought by a different company, which may be a better fit for my dad.

The place we finally went with.

Atria Greenridge Place for the memory care is just what we were looking for. They are very attentive to all the residents. They keep them engaged unlike some of the other facilities just sitting and watching television. The residents and staff are upbeat and happy. The smiles on everyone's faces says it all.

Giving your loved one & yourself peace of mind knowing that they are safe and cared for.

My reason for #1 was having to call multiple times to get a question answered prior to mom moving in, but since then much better communication and based on the overall experience so far, I would recommend the Atria Greenridge community to other families

I chose here for Mom because of the price. There's nothing we don't like, it's very nice. It's very clean. They offer a lot of services. It was comparable to places that were much more expensive. The staff was very attentive and responded quickly. The food is good, and some are better than others. You order restaurant-style with some daily specials and then there's a regular menu they have every day. They have a salon, a library, and transportation.

My mother-in-law is a resident. She has Alzheimer's or dementia, and we've been trying to keep her on the assisted living side. So, we pay for an apartment there, but we also pay for round-the-clock care on top of that. We have somebody who comes in 24 hours a day. There's another service, another company that is providing service to supplement the service that they provide. They do provide care, a clean location, good food, and staff all the time. This is about the locked area (I can't remember what they call it now). The front lobby staff were almost always friendly and caring. The aides for the most part were not very helpful at all. They did not listen to suggestions for helping my loved one, then called complaining about him, demanding we come help them. There was one aide who was an angel, [name removed], she treated him like family, but she was not always with him, she can't be there 24/7.
