McCracken Rest Home

I stayed at McCracken for many years. I found it to be safe at all times. Cleaning and cooking was done on a daily basis. It is very well kept. Staff is professional and kind to residents. We had many outside professional staff that came and did various treatments. Med techs were thorough and accurate with medication. We got our meds on time. Our administration were always kind and dependable. I will always call this my home.

Not for us

This place is run like a slum (2019). Most residents spend the most of each day smoking on the front patio Wich consists of old moldy chairs. There is regularly not enough food and the food they do serve is very high sugar and low nutrient. No fresh veggies. The cook is downright hostile to residents and other staff, yelling in their faces if they complain or make requests. It is kept understaffed with very high turnover. No reliable transportation to medical appointment as advertised, many missed or rescheduled do…

This Rest Home came under new management in 2016; The facility has not only improved but done a complete turnaround! New management stands by excellent care.

Please shut this rest home down immediately. They have several open cases in affect against them for elder abuse and neglect.
