PositiveI would rate everything as a 5. My mom and stepdad are happy at McDowell Place. It's clean, the staff is friendly and caring. The dining manager is responsive to suggestions and they have lots of activities. I think it's a good value for the cost.

We met not many people, but everybody we met was very nice. They took their time with my friend, and I thought they explained everything very well. PositiveI didn't have any qualms with McDowell Place of Danville at all. It's a very nice, welcoming facility. The staff was very friendly. They even had it decorated for summer. It's very cheerful and it was obvious that the staff members were good to the residents, because the residents were coming up and then talking to the staff, just asking questions and happy to see them. Positive5's across the board, personally, I loved the place. I might need a place like that one day, and that's the place I would choose for myself. The facility is clean, well kept, well lighted, secure and nicely laid out. The rooms are large with two sinks, bath and fridge. The community dinning area is large and centrally located with bathrooms near by. It has an after hours snack area. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was one of the nicest places for the money that we visited, before picking McDowell place.
