Disappointing experience!

I moved my mom to Silver Oaks to have her closer to me, expecting the same high-quality care she had previously received for four years. However, my experience has been deeply disappointing. During her stay, she suffered multiple serious UTIs, had recurring unexplained bruises, contracted COVID-19 twice, and experienced several bouts of the flu, all of which contributed to a decline in her health. The facility provided her a hospital bed until I was able to get one; very reasonable and kind management. The staff members were extremely helpful and caring. Keep in mind, my mom was placed in care during a Covid outbreak. We weren't able to visit too often.

Horrible experience

My mother was there over 3 years until the Ollie woman became manager than everything went to hell, my mother 100 years old on hospice and I had to move her to another place middle of the month, imagine how bad silver oaks is

Warm-Caring- Environment

I chose Silver Oaks because I liked the responses they gave to my questions during my facility search. They seemed warm and caring toward their residents, and I liked the sense I got about their community during our conversations. Their pricing was also significantly lower than the majority of their competitors, and that did play a role in my decision, as I had to spend my mother's money responsibly. I never felt that they provided inferior service for the lower cost.

This community was memory care and my loved one did not need this at the time.
