The tour I had of Mera Chandler's independent living community was fantastic. It was beautiful, but they didn't offer the transportation that I needed to get back and forth to dialysis. The apartment was spectacular. It offered everything that you would want. It has a side-by-side refrigerator, a walk-in closet, and spacious bathrooms. The apartment as a whole was very spacious. Each apartment has its own personal gate, I believe, where you can come and go at your own pace. They have three meals a day, po…

Mera Chandler was beautiful, but it's a little too high-priced for what I'm looking for. The units were gorgeous. The kitchens were well laid out, and had lots of drawers and places for pots and pans, and so forth. They had very spacious bedrooms and the living area space had beautiful views and very nice, large windows with nice coverings on the windows. We will be moving into Mera Chandler. We love it. It's independent living. That's why we went over there. It's way cheaper and it's brand new. It's a two-bedroom with a living room, full kitchen, and two-bath. One bathroom has got a bathtub and the other one's got a shower. It's just like a house. You get a full refrigerator with an icemaker, a washer and dryer, a shower, and you can hook up cable. We pay for our own cable, our own electricity, and our own water. After that, they …

A place for Mom really made daunting task very enjoyable. I gave them my needs and they provided me a list of appropriate properties. Each of the properties that they provided was very accommodating, clean and more than willing to show us around the property. I toured Mera Chandler. It was a wonderful place. I just got the feeling that the guy that was trying to get us to apply was making most of his money on just application fees. Then at the end, he handed me a page about income requirements that we wouldn't have qualified for. We were shown a very nice, neat apartment, and told what was happening in the community.
