Well it is ok but on the weekends the service is very slow and the food at times not too good. The apartment is nice but a tad small main bedroom. All in all for now I would say it's ok.

Merrill gardens was reassuring, not pushy, and very professional while my Dad was determining if this would be the right place for him. There is a real sense of community that you see right away. Residents are not tucked away in their rooms, they eat together, visit, and enjoy activities together. The rooms are bright and smartly designed. It's everything a person could need. Merrill Gardens is a very good independent living facility. It's now 100% full of friendly active people. There are many activities. The food is good and employees are friendly. The parking situation is horrible. The only parking available for visitors is in a paid lot next door. If you stay a minute later than you've paid for the charge is $[removed].
