Good place

Staff cares about patients. Shout out to a [name removed] that works there. Really pays attention to patients. The staff is very friendly, very ready to learn new things, and teach each other. Laundry organization could use work; as could sweeping the rooms They keep bedding clean, and the patients as clean as they can. (Patient coperation needed there). Millies is the very best place my dad could be since he cannot be at home alone. I know that he is safe, comfortable and enjoys the food.

Millie's is a small facility with maybe 12 residents, and it was not a memory care facility, so it wasn’t a lock-down. It thought it was a family-style place; the staff was very attentive. Silver City is a town of about 5,000 people, and so it was very different. The residents were able go on fieldtrips and walks. Everything was accessible right in their backyard, and the majority of the people didn’t have memory or cognitive issues -- just gearing for lack of mobility as they age. I wouldn't recommend this Assisted Living to my worst enemy! Staff is so rude, they have a homeless man coming in and out of the facility! I even witnessed the homeless man curse at family members and argue with them! This place is so disorganize, they have staff quitting on them left and right! Patients are treated badly, they smell like urine and feces, and their clothes look very dirty! [removed] Search for another facility to take your love ones! Don't take them to Millies!

My mother in law had alziemers and we had chosen to care for her at home. My husband and I desperatly needed a break from taking care of her, since I had moved in with her, it was easier find somewhere for her to go. They advertised respite care and were recommened by a state alziemers group. It was supposed to be 100 dollars for the weekend. The building is quite old but homey and clean.
