CriticalMorada Lake lacks sufficient staffing especially at night. There was one female staff member there overnight for 20 something residents. My Dad got confused and wandered into another resident’s room and ended up getting into an altercation and the staff member called the police and had him arrested instead of de-escalating the situation. Apparently there is not enough training and/or no protocols in place to handle a very common situation with dementia patients of aggression and agitation. The staff is overwhelmed.

PositiveOverall, the experience has been better than expected. The transition was difficult at first, but my loved one has become comfortable and really appreciates the environment. They are happy with their room, meals, and the overall care and services provided.
★★★★★
PositiveMorada Lake Arlington was a beautiful community, loved the layout. The facility was bright and clean.

PositiveAccording to my ex-husband, everyone there the residents, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. He is enjoying his apartment which is a studio, but it's nice and spacey. He says he loves it and I haven't heard anything negative. He really enjoys the transportation that is offered compared to the other place he was at. He also raves about the meals they offer. He enjoys all the different types of meals that they prepare so bottom line. He is happy there and we're happy that you were able to locate a place for hi…
