I can’t say enough about New Haven in Kyle Texas. My sister has been a resident there for several months. The facility has been very clean every time I have visited. The staff is patient and caring with her. She loves the food and the chef. The staff and management have been very receptive to doing extra things that my sister needs to have the best care necessary. I can say that New Haven in Kyle has been a blessing to my sister and to me. I don’t worry because I know that she is well cared for.

I would recommend you checking out the community to see if it would be the right fit for your loved one. This is a nice and clean community. The community didn't have enough qualified staff to provide individualized care for my loved one. There is no nurse on staff in the building each day, and this was a big concern for me for the care of my loved one. The residents had their own rooms in the community.

PositiveOur family had an in person tour and we really liked the tour and the people we met. It did not really seem as clean as the other communities we looked at but it had a real homey feeling to it. It is smaller and the residents did seem more limited in their abilities. We did think our loved one would enjoy the kitchen set up, the kitchen is set up in the middle so the residents can see the chefs cooking the different maels .

PositiveThe next best thing to your house
Due to the shortage of workers some of the things are lacking at the community but with the correct staffing there could be changes and it used to be a priority. Delicious meals and I eat there a lot. I notice that when I do eat they always have extra meals prepared just to share. You become a part of their family, they treat you like you belong.

Criticalour nightmare
I would not recommend this community to others. The staff and the executive staff really don't care they focus on getting in the door and then they just don't care about your loved one. Communication was very bad and I could not get a return call or email.
