I would strongly caution anyone from placing a loved one in this facility. The quality of care, condition of Hillside, and competency of the staff, were abominable, and I am shocked that this place is allowed to be in business. My mother, recovering from a hospitalization, would have died at this facility had I not been there to witness her condition, despite being told to go home by staff who said she was “fine”. My mom was admitted in what we would call a massive crisis. She walked into the hospital for a brain tumor biopsy early one Friday morning and she was delivered to Hillside the following day via ambulance under Hospice care with a life expectancy of fewer than 12 weeks. I did not have time to do comprehensive research before I entrusted them with the responsibility of my mother's end of life.
