I visited North River Village. It's my hometown. The most important thing is that they will allow a dog. I have a dog. The staff was friendly. They showed me what they have to offer, and they did not put any pressure on me about it. I was still allowed to have an automobile there, so I could get out and go someplace. I don't have to just sit in a place all the time. It would be a good way of living. That's where I'll go. They were really nice people to work with.

CriticalTurn over, meds, not clean
Horrible turn over rates on employees. Mismanagement of meds and some of it being narcotics. No housekeeping being done like we was told. Workers are horrible to some of the residents. Please if you love your family find a different place. They let anyone give meds out and most of the time the workers don't even know what the meds are used for. Only good this is [name removed] and her kitchen staff. The activities are not done like the say

My mother in law was there for 9 years and left just a couple of weeks ago. There were 4 people living in assisted living when she left. When she moved in there were 34. They cannot keep residents and staff changes so frequently that we could not keep up. We’ve had issues from ear drops being put in her eyes by an unqualified staff member to her being fed McDonald’s, pizza and whatever came off the frozen food delivery truck that week. Since 2019 we have seen a great decline in care and management and had to make t…

I visited my friend at North River and was quite impressed with the entire facility. I enjoyed eating a great lunch in the dining room with my friend and the other residents. The staff was friendly and very attentive to everyone's needs. The facility has a relaxed comfortable atmosphere and I felt right at home. I will definitely be visiting again.

Not sure where to start with all the great things I have to say. This facility was the perfect match for my mother. It is located in an excellent neighborhood that makes it extra homey. The grounds are beautiful. They have ducks and a beautiful pond. The suites have a kitchenettes and large bathrooms. We were able to decorate it to mother's taste.
