The staff does a good a job. Always let me know what is going on. They have asked him about the activities but he hasn't went at all. I think they should have took him to one. The room was nice. I thought I could handle the price but after he was there for a while it was to much money. I would have to work full time or two jobs and this added to much stress to my life.

Oak Park Place has really made my mom feel welcome. Her apartment is a very spacious 2 bedroom with a full kitchen. Having a walk out apartment has been great for her dog. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very happy with the choice of moving her into Oak Park Place.

In February 2026 we moved our mother to Oak Park Place Dubuque Independent Living. She has only been there for a few weeks and absolutely loves her new home and the many new friends she has made!!! During our first visit, it didn't take long to realize this was the perfect place for mom. Suzanne greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile, Candi gave us a great tour and answered all of our questions and every employee and resident we encountered during our visit was fantastic. It made me want to move in as well…

Well my father law passed away in November and my mother in law moved out end of December because she didn't qualify for assisted living. I believe she would give it a 3 for her time there. The provided rides for appointments and errands was great. The meals were a little light on fruit and vegetables. We ate several meals there and rarely had a fruit or vegetable. My mother-in-law is basically a vegetarian and they did make her a salad, but they didn't really provide a balance of nutrition so she wouldn't be hungr…

PositiveOak Park Place is a really great facility. The staff is outstanding, and the apartments are well designed and very well maintained. Meals are first class. I haven't had a bad meal. Dining is with "friends" in a very comfortable dining room. I you are looking for a good place for independent senior living, then you should look into coming here.
