PositiveI'm inclined to rate all of them at level five but I realize that I am biased because I'm so relieved to have my husband [name removed] taken care of. Also, I have no basis for comparison, this being the only care facility I have experienced other than quick visits. I am extremely satisfied with Oakmont of Redwood City, in particular, the staff who directly care for my husband. I can't read the food. I haven't eaten it, but I've sat with [name removed] when he eats, and it looks good and he eats it. When you walk i…

CriticalOn the outside, this facility presents well. On the inside, my loved one was not well cared for. Examples: a "med tech" came to take a wellness check, however the blood pressure cuff didn't work, he brought back a second one which also didn't work, and left to get a third one! Another example; at 3 am my partner had pain; he pressed the button and asked for pain meds; the attendant came in 10 minutes and my partner asked for pain med only to be followed by a "med tech" arriving 10 minutes later to ask (again) about…

Positive4 stars only because the communication seems to drop from the sales person once you move in?? We figured everything out by asking many people that worked with the Seniors. They were our best resource afterwards. So far so good. Dad loves the food.

PositiveThe first thing that caught my eye was the surroundings of the building, they were pleasant and very woodsy. I felt as if I were in an area far away from the city. Entering the building was also a delight very bright and welcoming. The front lobby concierge was so happy and engaging. Meeting with the Marketing Director[Name Removed]was like meeting an old friend. Pleasant, warm, and extremely knowledgeable. She took me to all the focal points that a new resident would like to know about and provided detailed infor…

PositiveOakmont is the most wonderful place. We researched high a low for a place to bring our Mom to. As you can imagine, this task requires much thinking and processing as you are leaving your loved one in the care of someone else. Nicole and Lauri were our first points of contact and they were warm, knowledgeable and were willing to go above and beyond their roles as the Marketing team. When I visit my Mom in Memory Care she is happy, engaged in activities and well taken care of. Our family is so thankful to have a plac…

PositiveOverall - seemed like a great place. The staff was friendly and plentiful - food was great and the residents were happy to give good recommendations. I liked the assisted living with transition to dementia care.
