I live in Oakmont of Riverpark. They only have two categories, assisted living and memory care, and I'm in assisted living. I know all of the staff by their first name. We use first names when we discuss, talk, and laugh. I have no problem whatsoever with the staff. Management doesn't listen. They have a two-star restaurant that would like to be a five, but it's got a long way to go. The building is in good condition. My Grandmothers final months were spent at Oakmont in the memory care unit. I can not speak highly enough of the staff that cared for her and others at that time. The care and compassion extended to my grandmother went beyond our expectations. The staff at Oakmont is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. Oakmont of Riverpark is a wonderful home for my aging parent. I considered a number of different care communities in my search for just the right spot for my Mother with her advancing Alzheimer’s disease. It is a very difficult and emotional time for my family. My mom was at Oakmont of Riverpark. She fell seven times and had a fracture and nobody called me about it. A few staff seemed very disinterested in their job and uncompassionate according to my mother and from my observation, but some were amazing. I would say the staff was indifferent.
