PositiveWe have been super pleased with Oakwood. Mom is very happy there. The staff is super. We really love [name removed], and the caregivers [name removed] and [name removed], and nursing staff. Rooms are nice. Lovely building. The food could be better I'm told but everything else has been great.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mother has moved into Oakwood Senior Living. It's nice, and the price was right. They have a bed, a dresser, and a lamp in the room. The staff members are friendly and nice. They're good, too. The building is nice. They have activities, but I don't know what they are. They have a courtyard.

PositiveMy brother has moved into Oakwood Senior Living, and they have been very, very nice. I have no problems. He hasn't been there that long, but everybody's really helpful and it's very clean. I haven't eaten any, but he did eat half of a sandwich last night, and that's more than he'd been eating. I was pleased with the facility. His room is very comfortable and plenty large enough. They listed many activities. It was one of the cheapest ones that we had seen and found, and I was pleased w…

CriticalWe certainly like the cleanliness of the community, it is a beautiful building and the facilities are nice, but they need more staff personnel. When we signed up initially we were told there was a nurse on staff at all times but there is no overnight nurse there. Their food also needs better quality - it tends to be a lot of deep friend items and looks like a toddlers lunch at times. For day to day living of healthy people it is fine.

PositiveWe have found Oakwood Senior Living. My mom hasn't moved yet. One of the main reasons I chose it was because it's close to my home and I can visit her regularly. It was also very welcoming. Jessica took me to the rooms. She gave me a couple of choices. She said that they had to be painted and cleaned, but they would be ready for my mom and to let her know which one I wanted. It was a large room and then the room where everyone gathered, the common room, was large also yet cozy because they had chairs line…

PositiveWe chose Oakwood Senior Living because out of all of the facilities we saw, we were the most impressed with this facility. It is an old school that was converted into an assisted living facility. They charge 1 fee for the room, they also do an assessment but they do not charge you extra for the different levels of care. We have been so blessed to have found this place. He absolutely loves it and we would highly recommend them.
