Would not recommend.

The employees were nice. I liked the apartment setting. They need to have everything entered into a computer. Doing this will show that medications and things of that nature was done. Saying things were written down is not adequate enough. Things can be changed to look as if everything was done. Properly. I truly do not believe that my sister was giving her medication like she was supposed. If they could not take care of her, as they told us they could. They should not have taken her in. Observation of One Magnolia Place

Staff is caring and friendly. There does not seem to be enough drivers to take clients to doctor appointments. That is a real problem for me as we live out of state. The facility is lovely. The food is just OK. Everything else is above average. Never any neglect or ugly talk. They are very kind to my mother.

I visited this facility

I went to One Magnolia Place. The staff was very friendly and very pleasant to show us around. The place is a dump. It has plaster missing from the walls and the carpets are filthy. It's dark and grungy-looking. People were sitting in a room with nothing to do. Their room is small and dirty. I wouldn't send anybody there.

One Magnolia Place has advantages and disadvantages. It is an older facility. The whole facility is dated, and it needs to be updated. The staff who gave the tour was great though. She answered all the questions, and she showed us around the facility. She showed us different activities and stuff. She did a good job. They showed us the dining room area, and it was open and nice. For activities, they were doing bingo while we were there.

My brother moved into One Magnolia Place. The pricing was better than at the other place. It was more of a peaceful-looking place. Instead of it being like a hospital with a hallway and rooms, they had multiple buildings connected by walkways. They had a lot of glass where you could see the outside. The two staff members that I met were very nice. My brother has physical rehab that he goes to every day. He goes to the main lunch room with all the other people that are in there.
