PositiveYes, staff goes out of their way to be helpful. As a family member they allow me to be able to know Mom is cared for 24/7 when I'm not with her which gives me the freedom to do the things I still need to do. I also love how I can come and go to assist with her needs. In fact there are times when Mom misplaces her phone and I know I can call the staff or they call me. It's just so helpful. Everyone is so pleasant that it feels like a second home. They have allowed me to grow a small garden outside her window which …

CriticalWe are moving into The Orchards at Southington on June 30. It looks very nice. It had three floors, the rooms are quite large, although not that large. The amenities were OK. They have running, they have volleyball, they have quite a few things going on. They're playing cards, playing chess, and reading. They have excellent staff, they're always looking out for you, and they have a nurse on call 24 hours a day.

PositiveThe Orchards At Southington is very pricey, and I do not think we can afford it. You get everything there. The visit was great. We loved it. It had everything included, which is what I was looking for. We liked the layout, and we liked that it included everything. It was a nice senior community. They had large rooms with lots of light.

PositiveOrchards at Southington is very pleasant, very friendly, and very welcoming. My mother likes everything but the food. They have book club, concerts, trivia, Family Feud, and craft demonstrations. The staff is very good, welcoming, kind, and helpful.

PositiveSome activities they have for the residents are exercise classes, card games, and bingo. They have movie night, and wine tastings. The food could use some improvements, right now the residents are getting boxed meals due to COVID. This community is clean, a very well maintained environment. The rooms sizes are about average.
