I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom is at Osa Heritage Homes Richmond. We chose this place because I liked the setup and the level of care they provide. Just by visiting the house and the rooms she's staying in, I was very satisfied with everything. It was the best fit. They do games and stuff like that, but mostly they just watch T.V. and they eat around a table every meal. They make three meals a day and they have several selections. They change the menu every month and they ask if there is something that she does not like. So, they mak…

My mother moved into Osa Heritage Homes - Richmond. I like the amount of care that she would be getting. I like the caring attitude of the employees there. The owner was very helpful. It's just a wonderful place for her to be. I checked it out before I moved her in and loved it. It was an excellent experience. The building is very easy accessible and very clean. The care for the people is just awesome. They have a lot of activities, but she was not able to participate because she is back in the hospital now. W…

I visited this facility

We were able to visit Osa Heritage Homes in Richmond. We found it to be very nice; however, the price was too high. The gentleman who accommodated us offered to negotiate a lower price, but not by much. We enjoyed the tour though -- it was very good. He showed us their private and semi-private rooms and told us what the room rates included. We also met one person who was working there on a Friday afternoon. Everybody we met there was nice. The current residents appeared to all possibly have dementia (we don't …

The environment my Aunt lives in works very well for us. I don’t worry about her whether she is receiving good care.

I visited this facility

Osa Heritage Homes - Richmond was a nice facility. I didn't see any activity, but it's still very new. There was only one resident there at that time. They weren't set up to have any visitation outside. The resident that was there was paralyzed, and I saw a nurse assisting her. There was not a lot of furniture in the facility, and there was no furniture on the back patio yet. I met with the owner and we just walked through, and he was very nice. It was a very clean, very nice, new home.
