I toured Park Place Assisted Living. The first thing that struck me when I walked into the place is there were residents there that were playing games and laughing. The staff seemed overly friendly, and the place was clean and had a lot of windows and it was bright. It was just a cheerful place. Other places I looked at were depressing. The rooms were wonderful and were all individual rooms. Because my mother is going to need financial assistance, probably Medicaid, she still gets a private room. She doesn't h…

Two family members lived here over a 5 yr period,including through Coved. Friendly staff and front office.A few long term employees however they do have high turnover. The nursing staff seemed to be different every yr or so. Our loved ones were treated with kindness and for the most part their needs were meant,thats not to say at times we requested a bit more oversight. WE did appreciate phone call regarding any changes in care plans.(higher charges of course) As with most facilities food is high in carbs. Once lov…

We went to Park Place Assisted Living. It's generally kind of dingy, the roof ceilings were low and my wife didn't like that area at all. The people were friendly and nice, but we just didn't like the facilities. I think it was an older institution, so it goes back some 20 years or so, maybe even 30 years, and so it needed some upgrading. We did see the dining area, but we didn't try the food. We visited several people at Park Place at one time. Entertainers would come in, and we listened to them singing. They did a good job caring for the people there. It was maybe a little bit better place than the others, but it's been a while too since we've been there. It was summer of 2018. We looked into Park Place. It's close; it's in our hometown where my parents still live. The response of the staff was excellent. They were very prompt in returning calls and setting things up. Because of COVID, they weren't letting people see it, but they made a special provision for us to be able to go see it. My mom was a resident at Park Place from February 2013 to January 2016. She was treated with love and respect, and she enjoyed the interaction with the residents and staff. We, as family, always found the facility to be clean and the staff friendly and helpful.. We occasionally ate at the facility and always enjoyed the meals. The family dining room and guest room were nice to have available.
