CriticalThere has been significant turnover in nursing and aide staff- mostly for the better from what I can tell. While the building is dated, it is always clean, as is my mom's apartment. If someone is wheelchair bound, I presume the space within the apartment may be hard to navigate but we have not had to deal with that. There are always activities going on. The staff are kind and engaging.

CriticalIt is obvious that the staff cares for residents- they know all their names and are very engaged. Quality of nursing and medical assistance could be improved, but we may just be in a cycle where mom needs different care than they can provide. Mom says the food menu is boring and isn't always piping hot. It seems to me that there is pretty good variety though.

PositiveMy husband moved to Parkside at Glenwood. They have been helpful, like contacting me when anything goes wrong and keeping me updated on how he's doing. The facility is nice. They're starting to redo the second floor right now. The dining area is nice. They have outings once in a while and different activities to keep them busy.
