PositiveThe rooms are nice and private. The staff is courteous and in top of there job
★★★★★
CriticalThey were trying to do their best, WAY understaffed. The food was pretty much inedible. Roomy needs an alarm on his bed as he is an extreme fall risk. Had to go find someone after waiting and waiting for the call light to be answered. The facility was ok, clean. Staff were very friendly.
★★★★★
CriticalI am beyond disappointed with Payson Care Center. Each staff that worked with my 80 year mother failed her. The Care Center has no communication skills! A Dr. Grant called me from the Phoenix area asking questions about my mother being admitted to her facility! Payson medical and administrative failed to inform me as her POA that she was transferred to a health facility in the Valley, and they failed to contact her long term office and staff. I have no confidence in this facility!
★★★★★
CriticalMy wife was at Payson Care Center before she came home. It was an above average facility. They offer everything including food and therapy. It was covered by Medicare.

He loved the care center and enjoyed the food and the nice climate of Payson. His room was small but cozy and they allowed visitors on a regular basis. Overall the care center was very nice and offered a large variety of activities and events for the seniors and guests. The food was standard American fare but it had a very home cooked…

PositiveThis is a skilled and rehabilitation facility. They have 136 beds. It is a one story building. This facility is very clean and smells good. They have a good staff of housekeeping and the building is well maintained. The building is divided into halls or wings for the more skilled, rehab, and long term care residents. They have a separate locked unit for dementia residents. They have a central dining room where they serve three meals a day and snacks. They have a dietician for special diets. There is not much variet…
